Risky is such a special girl! In 2019 I had the opportunity to show her for our good friend Lacy at Vista Oaks. When I handed her back I told Lacy please let me know if you ever decide to sell her. My opportunity came in fall of 2021 and I jumped on that opportunity. We went into 2022 with a goal of getting Risky another champion leg since she had her dry leg. On Sunday July 31, 2022 Risky not only got her 2nd leg but walked into the 2nd ring and got her 3rd and final leg making her our very first finished champion (pending, of course)!!!! Not only did she get her finishing leg that day, she also won Best Udder in Ring 2! She is a phenomenal doe with power and grace. Her udder is socked on with very strong lateral attachments. We are so thankful for the opportunity to own Risky! Risky is dual registered via AGS & ADGA.

Lila was the first doe born on our farm and she is exactly what I was looking for in a doe: blue eyed and polled with gorgeous markings, beautiful conformation and with all that, an amazing personality! While I am not an ADGA judge by any means, this girl is a show stopper in my eyes. In the 2019 TN Valley Fair show Lila won 2nd in her class as a junior. The next day at the SMDGA show she won 1st in her class as a junior. In 2020 as a 1F Lila kidded healthy twin doelings, one of which we still have (Skye). Our son entered Lila into a 4 H virtual show in Fall of 2020 and she won Grand Champion in Dairy Does! On top of all that, she earned her AR 3*M in 2020 in 2 categories: butterfat and protein as a first freshener! In 2021 Lila had a rough year from a rough kidding, but had 3 beautiful, healthy kids (2 bucklings and 1 doeling) so we dried her off early to give her a break. In 2022 she freshened with triplet bucklings. We are loving her very wide Rear udder but also her RUH! She continues to be on milk test and in July of 2022 she came in first in her class in Cookeville! Lila is dual registered with ADGA and AGS.

In the fall of 2022 we got a phone call from Cade Cockburn offering this amazing girl to Caden. Since Faline is a finished champion, she would be a great foundation doe for Caden so we jumped at the chance to bring her to our herd. Faline is so correct and balanced. She has tremendous strength in her wide front end that is so appealing to the eye. She walks uphill and Caden is so honored Cade would think of him and offer this amazing girl to him! Faline earned her milk star in all 3 categories easily in 2023. Her daughters Hill Valley U Wanna Bet & Hill Valley X Cindy Lou Who and her son Hill Valley Struck Gold *B reside here at Hill Valley Farm. Hill Valley U Wanna Bet won her dry leg in May of 2024 at the Southern Belle Showdown in a very competitive class of yearlings. We are thrilled with what Faline has done in our herd so far. Skye was an immediate retained doeling the moment she was born. She has grown into an amazingly beautiful doe. She has a level topline, smoothness of blending, incredibly dairy with strength to match. Her mammary is so correct. It is wide, with socked on attachments. Her foreudder extends beautifully. In the summer of 2023 Skye walked into the SMDGA Summer Classic Youth show and won her first Grand Champion, going on to win Best in Show in a huge competitive Youth show. The next day she won another Grand Champion leg. 2 weeks later she won another Grand Champion leg at the very competitive Youth show at Putnam County Fair, finishing her at the age of 3 as a 2F, with 2 of her legs being won in a youth show. A couple weeks later we took her to the TN State Fair in Lebanon and she won another Grand Championship in the first ring she walked into. She was also in the group who won 1st place Dairy Herd in the 2023 TN State Fair show. Skye is our first homebred Permanent Grand Champion and we could not be more proud. She is what we have been striving for in our herd. Skye is dual registered via ADGA & AGS.

Butter was a beautiful single doeling born in spring of 2021. She has grown into a beautiful doe who has won her class many times in the shows we have attended. She earned her milk star in all 3 categories easily as a FF. She has also quickly become Caden's showmanship doe. 2 of Butter's daughters reside with us at Hill Valley Farm: Hill Valley Butterfinger & Hill Valley Buttery Mayhem. Butterfinger won her dry leg the first ring she ever walked into at the KY mini show in June of 2023 as a 2 and a half month old. Then again at the TN Valley Fair in Knoxville as a 6 month old. We are excited to see what Butter can continue to do for us in our herd. Butter is dual registered via AGS & ADGA.
