When it came time to add a buck to our herd for diversity and other reasons, I contacted my good friend Lacy at Vista Oaks Farm. I was looking for a buck that had Old Mountain Farm lines and found it in Recall. Rocket's litter mate won a Junior Reserve Grand Championship in a N.C. June 2019 show, a Junior Grand Champion in an Illinois July 2019 show, and his grand sire is a finished Champion as of 2019. This guy is small, which is a plus in Nigerian Dwarf bucks, but has a lengthy neck and has nice conformation and the icing on the cake is he a sweet, friendly guy. His blue eyes really dominated (6 out of the 9 were blue eyed) along with lots of white in the mix! This guy is super docile, and easy to lead. He has great width, length, and is a beautiful buck. After finally being able to shave him after a long winter, you can see how dairy he is, wrinkles for days! I look forward to him earning his +'s for milk production! Hiram is dual registered with ADGA and NDGA.
